IndiGo, Infosys and Wipro to see some action today

InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) is planning to start flights connecting Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh to five cities in southern India from March 27, 2022 onwards. The airline will commence new exclusive flights between Kadapa-Chennai, Kadapa-Vijayawada, Kadapa-Bangalore, Kadapa-Vishakhapatnam, and new flights between Kadapa-Hyderabad. Kadapa will be the 73rd city in the country to be connected with IndiGo flights.

Wipro is planning to hire more than 500 new professionals in Brazil over the next fiscal year (FY23) to support its growth in delivering cloud solutions to clients. The company will be hiring throughout Brazil, especially in the Northeast region-mainly the capitals Recife, Fortaleza--as well as in Natal - Curitiba, Brasília, and cities in the countryside of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro states, among other locations, for a range of roles from IT and engineering to consulting, business development and operations.

NHPC has inked a pact with HDFC bank to securitise return on equity of its 540-MW Chamera-I Power Plant in Himachal Pradesh for 10 years. The amount of the securitisation facility has been arrived Rs 1,016.39 crore or 5.24 per cent per annum discounting rate linked with three-month T-bills.

Jindal Stainless has raised Rs 375 crore through the allotment of 3,750 Listed, Rated, Unsecured, Redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) having nominal value of Rs 10,00,000 each, to the investors. The Sub-Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on February 24, 2022, has allotted the same.

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services (Mahindra Finance) is planning to increase the number of branches of its Sri Lankan subsidiary Mahindra Ideal Finance (MIFL) to around 100 over the next three years from 17 at present.

IDFC First Bank has joined hands with Hero Electric for vehicle finance. The collaboration allows Hero Electric customers to avail an instant loan on KYC with low processing fees and down payment. The bank's customer-friendly lending solutions, paperless journeys and superior experience will enable Hero Electric to meet its customers' financing needs.
