Viom Networks decides to go-ahead with IPO plan

Telecom tower company Viom Networks (formerly Tata-Quippo) has decided to go-ahead with its initial public offer (IPO) plan. In this regard, the company will initiate the process to launch the IPO in January next year.

In June 2011, the company had indefinitely deferred plans to raise up to Rs 6,000 crore through an initial share sale by listing on the bourses.

Viom Networks, a joint venture between Tata Teleservices and the Kanorias of Srei, has over 40,000 cell sites with over 98,000 tenancies and claims the highest tenancy ratio in the industry.
