Lupin, Wipro and Havells India to see some action today

Lupin’s 100% subsidiary-- Lupin Diagnostics has launched its first Reference Laboratory in East India in Kolkata. The new Reference Laboratory at Kolkata has capabilities to conduct a broad spectrum of routine and specialized tests in the fields of molecular diagnostics, cytogenetics, flow cytometry, histopathology, cytology, microbiology, serology, haematology, immunology and routine biochemistry. 

Wipro has entered into long-term partnership with Pandorum Technologies. Together, the companies will focus on development of technologies that shorten time-to-market and maximize patient outcome during R&D and clinical trials of regenerative medicine. The partnership combines the Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities of Wipro Holmes with Pandorum’s expertise in regenerative medicine.

Havells India has unveiled its revolutionary range of energy efficient ECOACTIV fans by launching 19 new models under the ceiling, pedestal, wall and ventilator fan category for the upcoming summer season. The new range of technologically advanced fan comes equipped with ECOACTIV super?efficient BLDC and induction motor. The basket covering models based on ECOACTIV technology deliver excellent performance and consume lower energy offering cost savings upto Rs 1900 per annum on electricity bills.

Kirloskar Ferrous Industries has raised Rs 250 crore through rated, listed, unsecured, redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) and allotted 2,500 NCDs having face value of Rs 10 lakh each in two series of 1,250 NCDs each on a private placement basis to the identified investors. 

Aavas Financiers has raised Rs 360 crore and allotted 360 senior, listed, unsecured RDBs under the external commercial borrowing route having a face value of Rs 10 crore per Note with coupon rate of 7% per at Private Placement basis to CDC Group. Securities will be listed at NSE IFSC. The Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company has allotted the same on March 10, 2022.

Reliance Industries has sold natural gas produced from a coalfield in Madhya Pradesh for over USD 23 to firms, including GAIL, GSPC and Shell, but its price discovery was beaten by smaller explorer HOEC, which sold half of its sales volume for over USD 25. Reliance sold 0.65 million standard cubic metres per day (mmscmd) of gas from its coal-bed methane (CBM) block SP-(West)-CBM-2001/1 at a USD 8.28 per million British thermal unit premium over prevailing Brent crude oil prices.

TCI Express has successfully commissioned India's first largest automated B2B sorting centre in India at Gurgaon. The new sorting centre has been named as ‘GIGA Sorting Centre’ spread across 2 lakh square feet of area.  The sorting centre has been equipped with 0.6 km of fully automated loop sorting system with a throughput capacity of 15,000 parcels/packets per hour.
