Gujarat: PM Modi holds mega roadshow after BJP's wins in 4 states' assembly elections

Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi held a roadshow in Gujarat today, a day after winning four out of five state Assembly elections, including the crucial Uttar Pradesh. PM Modi was seen in an open car decorated with floral garlands. Modi waved to people and people of Ahmedabad have welcomed PM with the chants of Jai Shri Ram and Bharat Mata ki Jai. The mega roadshow that started from the Ahmedabad airport and reached the BJP’s state office in Gandhinagar covering a distance of 6 KM. PM was accompanied by Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel and state BJP president C R Paatil in the vehicle.

Modi will be attending scores of events, including a meeting with party leaders which will see MPs, MLAs and other functionaries, at the BJP headquarters. Modi landed in Gujarat for his two-day visit ahead of the party's preparation for Assembly election here later this year.
