Ex- cricketer Harbhajan Singh, academicians in AAP list of RS candidates from Punjab

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has nominated former cricketer Harbhajan Singh as its Rajya Sabha (RS) candidate from Punjab. Apart from Harbhajan Singh, the AAP has also nominated Party's Delhi MLA and national spokesperson Raghav Chadha, former IIT-Delhi teacher Dr Sandeep, Ashok Kumar Mittal- Chancellor of Lovely Professional University in the state and Sanjeev Arora, textile businessman and social worker from Ludhiana to the Upper House of Parliam

The Upper House elections are on March 31, for which names have to be submitted today. All five Punjab seats will go to AAP since it won 92 of the 117 seats in the assembly and will increase the party's strength in the RS from three to eight.
