TCS, Adani Power and RailTel Corporation to see some action today

TCS is ready to put in place 5G network for any telecom operator across the globe on any given day and the company is working in India on a country-specific gears for the network. The company is already helping telecom operators across the globe in managing their networks, swapping equipment and technology providers.

Adani Power’s board has approved an amalgamation scheme for the merger of its six wholly-owned subsidiaries with itself. The subsidiaries to be merged with Adani Power are Adani Power Maharashtra, Adani Power Rajasthan, Adani Power (Mundra), Udupi Power Corporation, Raipur Energen, and Raigarh Energy Generation.

RailTel Corporation has received work order from Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) for installation of RailTel’s MPLS-VPN services for 5 years at various locations of RVNL. The order is for an amount of Rs 11.57 crore (Induding GST).

Infosys has entered into definitive agreement to acquire oddity, a Germany-based digital marketing, experience, and commerce agency. The move strengthens Infosys’ creative, branding and experience design capabilities, and demonstrates its continued commitment to co-create with clients and help them navigate their digital transformation journey.

Compuage Infocom has entered into Distributor Agreement with Velox Solutions (hereinafter referred to as Velox) to offer a comprehensive range of next gen security products in the area of Cyber Security & IT Operation Management to a wide range of customers and partners by combining the extensive distribution network of Compuage and expertise of Velox.

UCO Bank has raised Rs 400 crore through private placement of 8.51% Basel III Compliant Unsecured Redeemable Taxable Tier II bond having face value of Rs 1 crore each. Maturity date of the said bond will be March 23, 2032.

REC’s board has approved the proposal for incorporation of a project-specific special purpose vehicle, as wholly owned subsidiary of REC Power Development & Consultancy (RECPDCL), for development of inter-state transmission project at Karnataka to be implemented through tariff based competitive bidding route, allocated by Ministry of Power, Government of India. The proposed company will also be subsidiary company of REC, in terms of the provisions of Section 2(87) of the Companies Act, 2013.
