DLF, Manappuram Finance and Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals to see some action today

DLF is planning to invest around Rs 2,000 crore to construct two new shopping malls in Gurugram and Goa, as it sees huge growth potential in organised retail with opening up of the economy after significant reduction in COVID-19 cases.

Manappuram Finance’s board has approved a proposal to raise up to Rs 7,800 crore in the next financial year. The board of directors at its meeting held on march 26, 2022 has considered and approved fund raising programme of the company for FY 2022-23, which includes issuance of redeemable non-convertible debentures up to the overall limit of Rs 7,800 crore by way of private placement or/and public issue in one or more tranches. It proposed to list the bonds on BSE or NSE and the tenure of the instrument, date of allotment, maturity and coupon will be decided by the board at the time of allotment.

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals has acquired 98,33,754 equity shares representing 55% of the equity share capital of Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances through the stock exchange settlement process. The company has deposited the entire consideration payable under the open offer to the public shareholders of the Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances (Open Offer') (assuming full acceptance) in cash in the cash escrow account in accordance with the Takeover Regulations.

Info Edge India has invested an amount of Rs 140 crore in Allcheckdeals India (ACD), wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. The said investment is to further strengthen the wholly owned Subsidiary financially in order for it to pursue its strategy of developing services with the use of technology and innovative business models in the large sized and rapidly growing real estate vertical through organic or inorganic channels. ANG Lifesciences India has signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Directorate of Industries, Government of Himachal Pradesh for setting-up the 'Nutraceuticals Park' at Kandroli area district- Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. Technocraft Industries (India) has incorporated a Subsidiary Company namely ‘Technomatic packaging’ on March 24, 2022 for its business. Initial Paid-up share Capital shall be Rs 1 lakh and 99.99% shareholding of the said Company owned by Technocraft Industries.

Airports Authority of India (AAI), under its R & D initiative, has entered into an agreement with Bharat Electronics (BEL) for the joint, indigenous development of systems for air traffic management and surface movement of aircraft at airports in the country which were hitherto being imported.
