3 BJP MLAs dismissed from Delhi Assembly session

Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas today suspended three Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs for the day amid protest by the AAP over defamatory remarks made by Delhi BJP president Adesh Kumar Gupta against Chief Minister (CM) Arvind Kejriwal. MLAs Anil Bajpai, Jitender Mahajan and Ajay Mahawar were suspended from the house after they stood on the benches even as the Speaker requested them to sit down.

When the house assembled in the morning, AAP MLAs entered the well of the House by raising slogans over the BJP leader. AAP MLA Mohinder Goel demanded an apology from Kumar Gupta and a censure motion against him for his derogatory remark. The proceedings of the House were adjourned twice over the same issue.
