Siemens has inked pact with Mafoi Strategic Consultants to establish a division for vendor management. The company is planning to start the division’s work with vehicle-makers and their parts suppliers, in initial days. Through this initiative, the company will be tracking and rating the performance of vendors that supply to OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and will help them perform better.
Mafoi has also made up software that will offer a weekly dashboard of vendor data. The dashboard keeps real-time track of what is happening at the vendor end and whether he is on schedule or not.
