Physical rubber prices weaken on Saturday

Physical rubber prices weakened on Saturday.

Spot prices for RSS- 4 variety slide down by Rs 159/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 159.50/ kg, while RSS- 5 variety closed at Rs 153/ kg, compared to its previous closing of Rs 153.50/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of January delivery slipped to Rs 158.81 compared to its previous closing of Rs 159.41, while February delivery closed at Rs 161.20 compared to its previous closing of Rs 161.78 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
