F&O total turnover stood at Rs 8595024 crore on April 5

Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 8595024 crore on April 5 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 92334941.

Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 39,990.82 crore, Stock Futures Rs 75,789.97 crore and Index Options Rs 8224199.32 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 2,55,043.89 crore.

For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.93, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.95 and that of Stock Options was 0.37.
