NMDC has bagged one gold and a silver at the 80th SKOCH Summit and awards held in Delhi recently. The gold award, presented in the category of social responsibility, was for the project ‘Promotion of technical education and skill development in Dantewada district through NMDC ITI Bhansi’, while the silver award, in the category of digital inclusion, was for ERP implementation ‘Project Kalpataru’.
NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
