The Odisha Government and Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to take vital steps towards the proliferation of green energy in the state.
A Memorandum of Understanding is for a five-year period to collaborate in the fields of the feasibility of setting up renewable energy plant and green hydrogen plant (both for domestic and export customers), round the clock (RTC) power for consumers and proposed green hydrogen plants, setting up of requisite infrastructure, training, and knowledge sharing, etc.
BPCL is into exploration, production and retailing of petroleum and petrol related products. The retail business unit of BPCL is into marketing of petrol, diesel and kerosene.
