Hindustan Unilever trades higher on the bourses

Hindustan Unilever is currently trading at Rs. 2172.65, up by 20.20 points or 0.94% from its previous closing of Rs. 2152.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2140.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2179.95 and Rs. 2135.40 respectively. So far 131021 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2859.10 on 21-Sep-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1901.80 on 08-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2194.85 and Rs. 2125.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 510660.16 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.90%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.56% and 12.53% respectively.

Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has reportedly once again hiked the prices of its products in April. The FMCG major has hiked prices, in the range of 3-20 per cent, across skin cleansing and detergents. The company has been hiking prices across its portfolio as raw material rates continue to remain elevated.

Hindustan Unilever is in the FMCG business comprising primarily of Home Care, Beauty & Personal Care and Foods & Refreshment segments.
