Physical Rubber prices witnessed weakness on Wednesday on account of sluggish demand in the domestic market. Copious summer rains allow tapping to continue during lean season in parts of the main rubber-producing state Kerala also kept domestic sentiments under pressure. Although, rising crude oil prices limited further fall in rubber prices.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to 170/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 171/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to 167.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 168.50/ kg.
