Physical Rubber prices witnessed weakness on Thursday as copious summer rains allow tapping to continue during lean season in parts of the major rubber-producing state Kerala kept domestic prices under pressure. Further, ongoing inflationary pressures also weighed on rubber prices.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to 169/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 170/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to 166.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 167.50/ kg.
