Indian rupee weakened against the US dollar on Friday tracking lackluster trend in the domestic equities following unabated foreign fund outflows in the market. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) remained net sellers in the capital market on Thursday as they offloaded shares worth Rs 713.69 crore, exchange data showed. While, firm American currency overseas also weighed on rupee sentiment. Although, a pullback in international crude prices limited losses in rupee.

The partially convertible currency is currently trading at 76.27, weaker by 10 paise from its previous close of 76.17 on Thursday. The currency touched a high and low of 76.3350 and 76.2500 respectively.
