Gold futures trade lower in early deals of Monday

Gold futures traded lower in early deals of Monday, as investment appeal of the bullion got pressured by a stronger dollar and on advancing Treasury bond yields. The precious metal had registered third straight weekly loss, down by 0.7% last week.

Gold futures for June dipped by 0.4% to $1,874.80on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold slipped by 0.4% at $1,874.89 per ounce.
