Just in: Retail inflation rises to 7.79% in April vs 6.95% in March

The country’s retail inflation, measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), rose to 7.79 per cent in the month of April 2022 as compared to 6.95 per cent in March 2022. Retail inflation in the month of April 2021 stood at 4.43 per cent.
