According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 584.72 crore in index futures and options segments on Monday, December 31, 2012.
FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 250.46 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 835.18 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 246.09 crore while they also sold stock options worth Rs 37.59 crore.
