According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 830.84 crore in index futures and options segments on Tuesday, January 01, 2012.
FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 144.14 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 974.98 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 218.93 crore while they also sold stock options worth Rs 48.57 crore.
