According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 2921.31 crore in index futures and options segments on Wednesday, January 02, 2012.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 373.89 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 2547.43 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 159.16 crore while they also sold stock options worth Rs 25.72 crore.
