Sukhjit Starch & Chemicals has undertaken expansion / balancing of its plants located at Gurplah in Himachal Pradesh. This will result in increasing maize grind capacity of the unit from 150 TPD to 300 TPD and that of Liquid Glucose / Maltose plant from 50 TPD to 80 TPD.
The said programme will entail a capex of about Rs 25 crore which will be partly met by way of a term loan of Rs 15 crore and balance from the internal accruals of the company.
