Colgate Palmolive’s work at Goa factory has been temporary disrupted following some of the workmen at the toothpaste manufacturing factory resorted to unauthorized temporary stoppage of work, effective January 6, 2013. The workers were primarily protesting against the suspension of a workman, who was suspended on disciplinary grounds.
The company is following the due process and expects to resolve the issue shortly. Further, the temporary disruption of work at the Goa factory will have minimal impact on the company’s business.
