Dalmia Bharat has purchased 33.14 lakh shares of its group company Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries for an amount of Rs 6.34 crore through open market transactions. After this transaction share of Dalmia Bharat, which is one of the promoters of Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries, rose from 5.24% to 9.34%.
The company’s stake in Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries stood at 4.89%, for the quarter ended September 30. The date of the open offer has been rescheduled to January 14, 2013 against the earlier date of November 1, 2012.
