Cochin Shipyard (CSL) has reportedly embarked on an ambitious plan to transform itself into a knowledge-based, technologically upfront corporate from a conventional public sector unit. The company is aiming to grow as a globally recognised technology firm among the frontrunners by offering new and emerging technologies and solutions in the maritime front.
Cochin Shipyard is the first Greenfield and presently the most modern shipbuilding and ship repair yard in India. The company caters to clients engaged in India’s defence segment and global commercial shipping sector. These vessels have been designed in-house by CSL, and classed by the Indian Register of Shipping.
