Physical Rubber prices extended weakness on Wednesday amid persisting concerns over inflation and weakness in demand globally. Rubber prices dampened further by weak South-West monsoon in Kerala, the largest rubber-producing state.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 176/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 176.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to Rs 173.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 174.50/ kg.
