Ahead of the upcoming Presidential Election, BJP today has constituted a 14-member 'management team'. The committee will be convened by the Union Minister of Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde and CT Ravi will be the co-convener.
The team also comprises G Kishan Reddy, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Sarbananda Sonowal, Arjun Meghwal, Bharti Pawar, BJP's national vice-president D K Aruna, national secretary Rituraj Sinha, national president of women's wing Vanati Srinivasan, national spokesperson Sambit Patra and Assam unit vice-president Rajdeep Roy. The management team will coordinate with all its state units of the party and its allies for the presidential election and is also expected to guide its elected voting representatives on the voting process. The election of the President of India will take place on July 18 and the results will be announced on July 21.
