Physical Rubber prices witnessed strength on Thursday due to good demand from domestic buyers. Although, some gains were capped by mounting recession fears after hawkish comments from US Fed Chair Jerome Powell on hiking interest rate to curb the inflation.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety gained to Rs 176.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 176/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety rose to Rs 173.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 173/ kg.
