Physical rubber prices show mixed trend on Wednesday

Physical rubber prices showed mixed trend on Wednesday following the overall declines in domestic futures on the commodity futures market.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety lowered to Rs 163/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 163.50/ kg, while RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 158/ kg respectively.

In the futures market, contract of January delivery dropped to Rs 164.74 compared to its previous closing of Rs 166.22, while February delivery closed at Rs 167.10 compared to its previous closing of Rs 168.82 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
