FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per January 11 data: SEBI

11 Jan 2013 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net buyers in equities while they were net sellers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3816.90 crore against gross sell of Rs 3535.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 281.70 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 667.20 crore with gross sales of Rs 1728.30 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1061.10 crore in debt.
