Physical Rubber prices witnessed weakness on Wednesday as investors worried about a potential recession-driven demand downturn, and also tracking weak trend at overseas markets with fears over a resurgence of the Covid-19 pandemic cases in China and Japan.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 176/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 176.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to Rs 173/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 173.50/ kg.
