Infosys, JSW Energy and Man Infraconstruction to see some action today

Infosys will acquire Denmark-based BASE life science for about 110 million euros (Rs 875 crore) in an all-cash deal. The acquisition will deepen Infosys' expertise in life sciences domain as well as strengthen its footprint across Europe. The deal is expected to close during the second quarter of current fiscal.

JSW Energy’s subsidiary JSW Neo Energy has bagged a 300 MW wind energy project from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The company bagged the project in a tariff-based competitive bids invited by SECI for setting up of 1,200 MW ISTS-connected wind power projects (Tranche - XII).

TP Saurya (TPSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power Company, has received the Letter of Award (LoA) from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for setting up a 600 MW hybrid (wind and solar) power project in Karnataka. The letter was awarded through tariff-based competitive bidding followed by an e-Reverse auction. The project will be commissioned within 24 months from the PPA execution date.

Man Infraconstruction’s wholly owned subsidiary -- MICL Global INC has formed ‘Parvat Washington, LLC’ as JV entity in the State of Delaware, USA. Parvat Washington LLC will carry on the business of real estate development and other lawful activities and is yet to commence business operations. MICL Global holds 50% interest in Parvat Washington.

Delhivery has been granted a US patent for its proprietary unique address identification (UAID) system by United States Patent Office. The company has been awarded a US Patent - US 11,381,928 B2 (45). The patent - 'System and method for assigning a unique identification for an address,' covers Delhivery's innovation in uniquely identifying different forms of the same address. This is the second patent that the company has been granted following the Addfix announcement.

Tata Motors has introduced a new variant enriching the Nexon portfolio - the XM+(S). Placed between the XM (S) and the XZ+, this newest addition is loaded with features and will be available at an attractive starting price of Rs 9.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Genesys International Corporation has entered into a strategic alliance with Esri India. In December 2021, Genesys International launched its pan India program to make the Digital Twin of entire urban India. The program, which will encompass accurate 3D data for the top 100 cities of the country, will lead to the first-time creation of this kind of highly accurate geometrical data.
