Physical Rubber prices witnessed weakness on Tuesday, tracking weak trend at overseas markets amid renewed fears of Covid-19 lockdowns in China. Further, worries about a potential recession-driven demand downturn also adding pressure on rubber prices.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 174/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 174.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to Rs 170.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 171/ kg.
