Physical Rubber prices witnessed weakness on Tuesday, tracking weak trend at overseas markets and renewed fears of Covid-19 lockdowns in China. Further, worries about a potential recession-driven demand downturn also weighed on rubber prices.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 172.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 173/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to Rs 169/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 169.50/ kg.
