Bharti Airtel loses 1.70 million subscribers in December

Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa, has lost about 1.70 million users in December. Following this, the company’s total customer base decreased to 181.91 million with a market share of 27.68%.

The country’s top three GSM carriers - Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular that account for nearly 67% of the sector’s revenues jointly lost 5.17 million subscribers in the month of December 2012.
