According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 1118.77 crore in index futures and options segments on Wednesday, January 16, 2013.
FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 343.30 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 1462.07 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 195.80 crore while they sold stock options worth Rs 105.15 crore.
