Physical rubber prices remain unchanged on Thursday, though there was no selling pressure from the growers who preferred to hold the produce hesitating to sell at lower rates.
Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 160.50/ kg and Rs 156/ kg respectively.
In the futures market, contract of February delivery closed at Rs 162.39 compared to its previous closing of Rs 161.69, while March delivery closed at Rs 164.75 compared to its previous closing of Rs 163.86 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
