The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in equities while remained sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3,601.00 crore against gross sell of Rs 2,979.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 621.40 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 39.40 crore with gross sales of Rs 559.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 520.30 crore in debt.
