Physical rubber prices made mixed closing on Saturday

Physical rubber prices continued to display a mixed trend on Saturday on buyer resistance amidst scattered transactions.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety weakened to Rs 161/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 161.50/ kg, while RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 156/kg.

In the futures market, contract of February delivery slipped to Rs 162.15 compared to its previous close of Rs 162.45, while March delivery closed at Rs 164.22 compared to its previous closing of Rs 164.73 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
