Spot prices for RSS-4 variety lowered to Rs 160/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 161/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 155/ kg compared to its previous close of Rs 156/ kg.
In the futures market, contract of February delivery declined to Rs 157.80 compared to its previous closing of Rs 161.89, while March delivery closed at Rs 160.27 compared to its previous closing of Rs 164.25 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
