Wipro, Strides Pharma Science and DCM Shriram to see some action today

Wipro has secured multi-year contract to deliver Service Integration and Management (SIAM) Services to HM Treasury (HMT). The service will enable seamless integration of IT services across multi-functional suppliers and partners, enhancing the user experience across HMT and its Arm’s Length Bodies. Wipro and HMT will collaborate to enable end-to-end SIAM services, from strategy, design, and implementation to running business-as-usual services such as day-to-day coordination of service integration across HMT’s vendors.

Strides Pharma Science’s step-down wholly owned subsidiary -- Strides Pharma Global Pte., Singapore, has received approval for Naproxen Sodium Softgel Capsules, 220 mg (OTC) from the United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA). The product is bioequivalent and therapeutically equivalent to the Reference Listed Drug (RLD), Naproxen Sodium Capsules, 220 mg, of Bionpharma Inc.

DCM Shriram has received approval to make the further investment of upto Rs 70 crore in subsidiary company -- DCM Shriram Bio EnChem by way of capital investments in one or more form of securities in one or more tranches. The company has also received approval to carry out the manufacture Sulphate of Potash (K2SO4) project through its subsidiary company -- DCM Shriram Bio EnChem. The Board of directors of the company at its meeting held on August 18, 2022 has approved the same.

Zomato-owned quick commerce company Blinkit has reportedly started a printout service in Gurugram. It is charging an amount of Rs 9 per page for black and white printing and Rs 19 for coloured. Also, a delivery fee of Rs 25 will be charged by the company for every such order. Blinkit is focusing on providing academic printing services to customers like students and professionals. These include services related to rental agreements, visas and passports.

Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works (KMEW) has signed a sale agreement with Abnco Vie Win Ent for purchase of a new vessel ‘Self Propelled Hopper Barge M.V. Abnco VI’. The vessel is acquired at a total cost of Rs 3.50 crore. The said vessel is 2017 built and has a hopper capacity of 886 cubics. The said vessel will be deployed in Mangrol and other fishing harbour for the Capital Dredging Work.

Talbros Engineering has commenced construction on land acquired admeasuring 2.2 Acre bearing Plot No. 80, Sector 68, HSIIDC, Faridabad for setting up of new production unit.

Nepal has signed a pact with an Indian company NHPC to develop a hydroelectric plant in the west of the nation years after a Chinese firm backed out. Nepal has opened its rivers, which it sees as having a combined potential to generate more than 42,000 megawatts of hydroelectric power, to foreign players to develop its economy and export electricity to narrow the trade deficit of more than $13 billion.
