FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per January 22 data: SEBI

The FIIs as per Tuesday’s data were net buyers in equities while they were net sellers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3440.90 crore against gross sell of Rs 2578.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 862.70 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 137.80 crore with gross sales of Rs 747.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 609.70 crore in debt.
