Hero Electric has partnered with Jio-bp, a fuel, and mobility joint venture between Reliance Industries and bp, for charging electric two-wheelers. As per the collaboration, the customers of Hero Electric will get access to the widespread charging and swapping network of Jio-bp, which is also open to other vehicles. The companies will bring the best of their global learning in electrification and apply them to the Indian market.
Reliance Industries is India’s largest private sector company. The company’s activities span hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and 4G digital services.
