Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) has reported results for the quarter and the year ended March 31, 2011.
The company’s net profit for the fourth quarter has surged by 32.99% at Rs 935.18 crore as compared to Rs 703.18 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. Its total income has increased by 19.97% at Rs 45782.05 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 38158.70 crore in the corresponding previous quarter.
The company has registered marginal growth of 0.55% in its net profit for FY11 at Rs 1546.68 crore as compared to Rs 1537.62 crore for FY10. Its total income has increased by 23.12% at Rs 153300.03 crore for the year from Rs 124516.19 crore in previous year.
On consolidated basis, the group’s net profit for the year rose marginally 0.16% at Rs 1634.96 crore as compared to Rs 1632.36 crore for the year ended March 31, 2010. Total income for the year has increased by 23.13% at 155370.19 crore as compared to Rs 126181.92 crore for the previous year.
Bharat Petroleum Corporation has recommended dividend of Rs 14 per equity share of Rs 10 each for the year 2010-11.
