Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has withdrawn E-tender for appointment of Consultant for Data Monetization of Indian Railway/ IRCTC floated by IRCTC, on July 29, 2022. The said act is due to withdrawal of Personal Data Protection Bill 2018 by the Government of India.
IRCTC is the only entity authorised by the Indian railways to provide catering services to railways, online railway tickets and packaged drinking water at railway stations and trains in India.
