Lupin in partnership with Pharmascience Inc. has received tentative approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA), Dasatinib Tablets, 20 mg, 50 mg, 70 mg, 80 mg, 100 mg, and 140 mg, to market a generic equivalent of Sprycel Tablets, 20 mg, 50 mg, 70 mg, 80 mg, 100 mg, and 140 mg, of Bristol-Myers Squibb Company.

Grasim Industries is planning to invest Rs 3,117 crore on its existing businesses in FY23. This investment would be towards capacity creation and modernisation of plants. The company's board has already approved a total capex of Rs 10,000 crore for the paints business, out of which Rs 605 crore has been spent till FY22. Additionally, the company has earmarked Rs 2,000 crore for the B2B e-commerce business.

Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake (51%) in SPANV Medisearch Lifesciences, Nagpur, which is running a Multi-Speciality Hospital in the name of Kingsway Hospitals, having over 300+ beds. Existing promoters and shareholders will continue to hold a balance 49% stake. Postacquisition, the hospital will be renamed KIMS Kingsway Hospitals.
