Copper futures trade higher as US dollar strengthens

Copper futures traded higher on Monday, despite the US dollar strengthened against a basket of currencies with continued bets of more interest rate hikes by the US Federal Reserve. 

Copper futures for September delivery gained $0.0100 or 0.29% at $3.4270 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
