Infosys, Bank of Maharashtra and Tata Power to see some action today

Infosys has inked a five-year agreement with Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., one of the world’s largest manufacturers of aerostructures for commercial airplanes, defense platforms, and business/regional jets. Infosys will collaborate with Spirit AeroSystems to provide aerostructure and systems engineering services for product development of commercial, business jet and emerging aircraft programs, and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services. 

Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) has raised Rs 710 crore from bonds to fund business growth. The fund raised via Basel III compliant Additional Tier 1 (AT1) bonds of Rs 710 crore (including green shoe option of Rs 610 crore) is at a coupon rate of 8.74 per cent.

Tata Power has set up over 450 charging facilities across more than 350 national highways, including one at the longest highway (NH 44) and another at the busiest highway (NH 19). This is in line with the company's nationwide plan of setting up charging points from north to south and from east to west.

Nokia has selected Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for redesigning its employee management system across 130 countries where it operates. Under the agreement, TCS will redesign Nokia's human capital management processes and deploy a new cloud-based platform to drive simplification for a better employee experience.

ITC is planning to pursue the asset-right strategy for its hotel business to ensure that the diversified conglomerate remains competitive and contemporary, and continues to deliver superior performance. The tourism and hotel industry is recovering after pandemic and the company will take the demerger process forward and explore alternate structure.

Wipro has launched @nowStudio in Brazil. The center is designed to accelerate the digital journey of customers and promote the enrichment of the ServiceNow community of developers and users. This is the second @nowStudio launched as part of Wipro’s global plan.

Mindtree, a Larsen & Toubro Group company, is planning to set up a development centre in Kolkata, which could create employment opportunities for 15,000-20,000 people in the next four-five years.  The IT services firm has already onboarded 1,700 people in its existing facility in the West Bengal capital so far.
