Gold futures finish lower ahead to Fed decision

Gold futures finished lower on Tuesday, marking decline for fifth time in six days amid woes over aggressiveness in Federal Reserve monetary policy. Moreover, firming dollar value and bond yields also pressured the yellow metal investments.

Gold futures for December dipped by $7.10 or 0.4% to settle at $ 1671.10 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold declined by 0.6% or $ 10.31 to $ 1,665.46 per ounce.
